Privacy Policy

Introduction

  • We are DOJO Labs F.Z-L.L.C (“DOJO Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform (dojo.fit), the Dojo software, and any fitness apps powered by Dojo (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Dojo, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

  • Our technologies allows trainers (i.e. Fitness influencers, personal trainers, gym owners, celebrities) to launch state of the art fitness apps and sell fitness programs to trainees monthly, yearly or one-off, including recipe inspirations and various health and habit-building resources.
  • Additionally, our technology involves one-way notifications (Us to Trainers, Trainers to trainees—in-app, by email, sms.), logging of personal health records and metrics (i.e. Workout performance, bodyweight, nutrition logging) as well as various marketing tools allowing Trainers to manage and grow their business.
  • We mostly act as a processor on behalf of Trainers, who should have their own Privacy Policy pertaining to their trainees. This Policy only applies in the limited circumstances where we are a controller. The Privacy Policy applies to both Trainers and Clients, but it is important to distinguish the two as Dojo’s personal information obligations differ, depending on whether you are a Trainer or a Trainee.

We have tried to make it clear when this Privacy Policy applies to you but if you have any questions at all please contact us here: legal@dojo.fit

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy may change from time to time. As an early-stage company, the frequency of changes is expected to be higher as we introduce analytics and marketing efforts over the first few years.

If we make material changes to how we process your personal information or how you may exercise your rights, we will notify you through a notice in the Service. The date this Privacy Policy was last updated is identified at the top of the first page of this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable e-mail address for you, and for periodically visiting this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.

When you sign up for a subscription or make a purchase, any credit card information you provide is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, which is currently Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), through their checkout service.

We never receive or store your full credit card information. Stripe commits to complying with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and using industry standard security. Stripe may use your payment information in accordance with the Stripe Privacy Policy.
