Introduction

Dojo Labs LTD ("Dojo," "we," "us," or "our") values each user's privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use Dojo. This includes our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information we Collect

Amongst the data you provide and data collected automatically, Dojo collects the following information:

  • Account credentials
  • Name, email address, Instagram username, phone number and profile information
  • Content uploaded to the Platform
  • Communications with your users (community posts and stories)
  • Support Communications
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address
  • App usage and interaction data
  • Log files and diagnostic data
  • Cookies

Payments are processed by Stripe, we receive limited transaction data and do not store full credit card numbers. Cookies may also be collected by advertising partners such as Google or Meta, you can consult their own privacy policies.

How we use Information

We use the information collected to analyze, secure and optimize your experience on the Platform. We also use information to communicate with you about the platform, detect and combat fraud.

We may communicate:

  • Operational emails such as password resets, onboarding or subscription management links
  • Marketing emails and new feature updates (opt-in required)
  • Fraud and abuse prevention emails

How we share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with third party providers such as Stripe, Apple or Google where necessary for operational purposes.

Creators can request their users' email from us. Any promotional emails creators may send their users are subject to the same opt-in requirements as us. Creators are not allowed to share those emails with any third parties.

Data Retention & Your rights

We keep personal information as long as needed in order to comply with our legal obligations, maintain services, resolve disputes and enforce Agreements.

When an account is deleted, information is deleted afterwards unless its retention is required by law or legitimate business needs.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update or request deletion of your personal data as well as opt out of marketing communications by contacting: support@dojo.fit

HealthKit Data

If you choose to connect Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect, your data will be used solely to support the Platform's workout, nutrition and tracking functionalities. The data is never used for advertising and marketing nor is it sold or shared with third parties unless required by law.

You can remove access for either Healthkit or Health Connect via your device's settings.

Marketing, Communications & Consent

If you have opted into marketing communications at sign-up or any other way on the Platform, Dojo will send you marketing or promotional emails. Opt-in is not a condition for using any of the Platform's features. You can remove your marketing consent via the link at the bottom of any of our marketing emails or submitting a request to support@dojo.fit

Children's Privacy

Dojo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Any such data unknowingly collected will be deleted.

Security

We take reasonable technical and structural measures to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee total security.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Dojo may occasionally change elements of this Privacy Policy. If the changes are consequential, all users will be updated via email. Your usage of the platform after any change made to the Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the new Policy.
